No doubt started out in Anahime California with a diffrent singer Eric Stefani and John Spence the lead singer.In 1987 it was taken over by Gwen Stefani after John Spence had commeted sucicied.They played at small gigs in Orange County.Tony Kanal went to these showes n sooon became the bassist to the band. In 1988and 1989 two new band members were added they were Adrian Young that plays the drums and Thomas Dumont who plays the guitar. In 1991 they signed to the america signed to the American record lable Interscope Records. No doubt s first cd was realeased in 1992 with the name of the band No Doubt that had the song traped in a box this record did not do well. There second albam The Beacon Street collection was a hit and ngot them new fans.
